形態特徵

Small shrubs, branches slender, rigid, glabrous; winter buds clustered, acute, glabrous, scales ciliolate.
Leaves subcoriaceous, clustered at ends of branches, glabrous, oblanceolate-oblong to oblong-lanceolate, 6–12 cm long, 2–4.5 cm broad, apex acute or short acuminate, mucronulate, base narrowed, cuneate, margin more or less recurved, upper surface lustrous dark green, lower surface pale green to pallid, secondary veins spreading; petiole 0.5–1.5 cm long, glabrous.
Flowers in clusters of 2 or 3 near end of branches; pedicel 2.5–3.5 cm long, glabrous; calyx glabrous, 5-toothed, teeth unequal and variable, 2–4 mm long; corolla pink, funnelform-campanulate, 5–6 cm long and broad, deeply 5-lobed, lobes spatulate to obovate, rounded; stamens 10, included, filaments flattened, villous; ovary cylindrical, glabrous, style stout, equaling stamens in length, glabrous, stigma capitate.

分布

台灣 : common in broad-leaved forests from 300 to 2,400 m throughout the island.
世界 : The Ryukyus to Fukien.
