形態特徵

• Rhizome short, densely tufted. Culms central, 5-10 cm tall, 3-angled, smooth.
• Leaves 15-28 cm long, 2-3 mm wide.
• Spikelets 3 to 6, subfastigiate except lowest one, erect; terminal spikelets staminate, linear, 1-2 cm long; lateral spikelets pistillate, short cylindrical, ca. 2 mm long, short peduncled. Lower bracts leafy, much exceeding culm, short sheathing at base.
• Pistilla glumes elliptic, straw colored, apex round to truncate, sometimes mucronulate. Utricles upright, ca. twice as long as glume, greenish strawcolored, 5.5-6.5 mm long, finely many-nerved, wholly appressed-puberulent, lageniform, long-stiped at base, beak cylindrical, shallowly bidentate. Achene tightly inclosed, 3-angled, 4 mm long, rhomboid, stipitate at base, cylindrical neck ca. 1 mm long, 2/3 mm across, vertically truncate, faces more or less concave; style short, thickened at base; stigmas 3, short.

• 台灣 : forest floor from 300-1,500 m.
• 世界 : Vietnam and Philippine.
