形態特徵

• Climbing vines. Stems woody, terete, to 5 m long, 8-10 mm thick. Flowering branches 30-50 cm long, 2.5-3.5 mm thick, terete, usually smooth, internodes 2-2.5 cm long, 2-3 mm thick.
• Leaves annual or winter green, somewhat spaced; blades broadly lanceolate, ellipsoid or ovate-oblong, 5-8(-10) cm long, 2-4(-6) cm wide, herbaceous to thick membranaceous, or sometimes thin coriaceous, base contracted, apex gradually or subabruptly narrowed, abruptly caudate; costas 5, including a fairly distinct marginal pair, all separate to base, distinct on upper surface, lateral veinlets spreading, ascending or slightly curved upward, reticulation dense, fine, not elongate; petiole 10-25 mm long, 1.2-1.5 mm thick, often bent upward above middle, 3-angled with subobtuse abaxial angle, sheathing 4-8 mm long: wings narrow, 0.5- 0.8 mm wide, hardly auriculate; tendrils vestigial on flowering branches, those on vegetative branches and stems 20 cm long.
• Inflorescences usually 1-umbellate, prophyllate at base, 3-7 mm long, bract 1, usually hidden by prophyll; prophylls broadly ovate, boat shaped, 3 mm long, apiculate, persistent, peduncle stout, straight 1-1.5 cm long; umbels of both sexes 1.5-2.5 mm across, 17-40-flowered; rays 1 cm long. Staminate perianth segments recurved at anthesis, outer and inner similar, oblong, obtuse, 3-4 mm long, 1 mm wide; stamens 6; filaments 2.5 mm long; anthers ellipsoid, 0.5 mm long. Pistillate perianth segments 1.5-2 mm long, erect to erect-patent, ellipsoid-ovate, subacute, 0.5-0.7 mm wide; ovary ovoid, 2 mm long; stigmas 0.7 mm long; staminodia needle-like 0.7-1 mm long.
• Berries ellipsoid-globose, 5-7 mm across, yellowish-red; seeds 1 or 2, suborbicular, 4.5 mm in diam.

• 世界 : From the Indian Himalaya through Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and the Malesian region to Hainan, southeastern China.
