形態特徵

• Tubers globose.
• Leaves oblong, ca. 4 cm long, 2 cm wide, base cordate to rounded or slightly cuneate, apex obtuse, with 2 or 3 longitudinal veins and many transverse veins on both sides; petiole ca. 8 cm long.
• Inflorescence laxly flowered, pedunculate. Perianth segments 2, obovate, 1.5 mm long; stamens 6, 1 mm long; carpels 3, obliquely ovoid.
• Fruit oblong, apex usually mucronate, 4 mm long, 1.5 mm wide; seed usually 1, oblong, 3 mm long, 1 mm wide.
• The species is probably conspecific with <i>Aponogeton lakhonensis</i> A. Camus. (van Bruggen 1980, personal communication).

• 台灣 : Submersed in paddy fields in the north.
