形態特徵

A tree, the branches and branchlets often very glaucous.
Leaves peltate, broadly ovate or triangular-obtuse, entire or obscurely sinuate, pale pubescent beneath; petioles nearly as long as the blade, glaucous.
Male panicles 13–30 cm long; female flowers few, in clusters.
Capsules 2–3-lobed, coriaceous, muricate, 5–15 mm long, 10 mm across, echinate and glandular.

分布

台灣 : Throughout the island, very common in thickets and secondary forests at low altitudes, also commonly cultivated as a shade tree.
世界 : Southern Asia to Australia.
