特徵描述

形態特徵

Rhizomes long-creeping.
Stipes wingless or only winged at summit; fronds very variable in shape and size, up to 25 cm long, tripinnatifid; rachis winged to the base, hairless, the wing entire; pinnae usually close but not overlapping, the ultimate segments entire, about 1 m wide, rounded tips; laminar cell walls thin, straight.
Sori either with hollow conical base sunk in the apex of a segment and broadly rounded lips about as wide as the segment, or more rarely with a narrowly winged basal part from which the ovate lips widen, sometimes abruptly; indusia rounded or ovate, entire; receptacles columnar.

台灣 : Epiphytic on mossy tree trunks or rocks in dense mountain forests.
世界 : tropical and subtropical regions throughout the world, often extending to the warm and temperate regions.
