形態特徵

• Suberect to scandent slender shrubs. Stems 0.4-1.3 m long, 2-3 mm thick, slender, terete, smooth, loosely branching; branches 15-20 cm long, 1 mm thick, smooth, obscurely few-angled.
• Leaf blade thickly membranaceous to subcoriaceous, lower surface glaucous , ellipsoid to broadly ellipsoid or slightly rhombic, abruptly contracted at both ends, base cuneate, apex acute, 2-3 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, margins slightly revolute; costas 3, slightly elevated on lower surface, lateral veinlets oblique, relatively loose; petiole 2.5-6 mm long, 0.5-0.8 mm thick, patent, shallowly 1-furrowed, obsoletely auriculate just below blade, non cirrhose, wing ca. 3 mm long, deltoid, membranaceous.
• Umbel solitary, 1-9-flowered; peduncle filiform, curved, 2-4 cm long, sometimes with few scales in middle of staminate peduncle. Staminate flowers, greenish; perianth segments recurved from base at anthesis, outer ones linearoblong, 2.5-3 mm long, ca. 0.3 mm wide, obtuse, inner ones slightly shorter and narrower; stamens 6, anthers orbicular-ovoid, 0.2 mm long, filaments patent 0.6 mm long. Pistillate flowers: greenish; perianth segments patent to spreading, outer ones linear-oblong, 2.5-3 mm long, inner ones slightly shorter and narrower than outer; ovary ovoid 1-2 mm long, 0.6 mm wide, stigmas 3, staminodia 3, needle-like.
• Berries globose, 7-9 mm in diam., red.

• 台灣 : occasional in forests, 800-1,400 m.
