Stems pendulous, to 50 cm long or longer, often tufted and forming a large mass; internodes 1.5-2 cm long.
Leaves distichous, fleshy, linear-lanceolate, 7-15 cm long, 1.2-2 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base cuneate, decurrent.
Racemes several, opposite leaves; peduncle 3-6 mm long; bracts triangular, 1.5-2 mm long; pedicel and ovary 5-7 mm long. Flowers 3-6, white or sometimes tinged with pale yellow; dorsal sepals oblong, 7-9 mm long, 2.5-3.5 mm wide, acute; lateral sepals obliquely ovate, 6-8 mm long, 4-5 mm wide, apex acute, base contracted; petals falcate-oblanceolate, 7-9 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, acute; lip shortly spurred, 5-6 mm long, with 3 lobes above spur, lateral lobes purple, erect, triangular, 1 mm long, midlobe white to yellowish, tinged with purple, suberect, truncate-rectangular, 2-3 mm long, 3.5 mm wide, +/- V-shaped in cross section, base thickened, forming a fleshy appendage nearly blocking mouth of spur; spur obconic, widened apically, narrowed to base, with a thin tonguelike appendage arising from inside back wall; column 2 mm long, stout; anther cap white, with a purple blotch, semispheric, 1 mm across, beaked; pollinia ellipsoid, 0.5 mm long, stipe 1.5 mm long, broadened at base; viscidium squarish-truncate; rostellum erect and bifid at apex.
Capsules trigonous-fusiform, 2-3 cm long.
