形態特徵

• Tuber depressed globose, 3-6 cm in diam. Pseudostem 5-15 cm long, much shorter than petiole. Cataphylls membranaceous, purplish to brownish, apex mucronate.
• Leaf solitary; petiole terete, 20-55 cm long; lamina pedate; leaflets 11-15, oblanceolate to elliptic, base cuneate, apex acuminate, terminal leaflet 10-28 cm long, 2-7.5 cm wide.
• Peduncle 10-20 cm long, usually shorter than petiole. Spathe white to pale yellow, with dark to bronze purple or reddish purple stripes; tube cylindrical, auriculate at mouth, 5-7 cm long, 2-2.5 cm wide, white to pale yellow with longitudinal purple stripes outside and dark purple stripes inside; blade triangular ovate, 7-10 cm long, 4-5 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate.
• Spadix 3-4 cm long in male plants, appendage filiform, 40-60 cm long, long exserted, upper portion bent downward, pendulous, lower portion gradually thickened to form a smooth long cylindrical enlargement, then gradually narrowed toward floriferous part.

• 台灣 : widespread but scarce at low elevations in the north and east.
