形態特徵

• Culms erect, enlarged at base, usually solitary, 20-100 cm tall, 2-5 mm thick, sharply 3-angled; nodes 0-3.
• Leaves few, below middle of culm, 2-5 mm wide, shorter than to slightly overtopping inflorescence; sheaths 5-16 cm long, brownish.
• Inflorescence of 1-6 spikelets, capitate or simply paniculate with 1-few short rays, each terminated by 1-few spikelets, terminal or more or less pseudolateral; involucral bracts 1-3, leafy, at least lower ones much surpassing inflorescence, lowest occasionally erect. Spikelets ovoid or ovoid-ellipsoid, 8-15 mm long, 6-8 mm wide, many flowered, acute, reddish brown.
• Glumes oblong-ovate to elliptic, 6-8 mm long; awn 1-1.5 mm long, sparsely pilose, reddish or light brown. Hypogynous bristles (2-)4, caducous. Stamens 3. Stigmas 2; style slender, finely retrorsely scabrous. Achenes ovoid, 3-4 by 2-3 mm, to biconvex, shiny, dark brown.

• 台灣 : salt marshes.
• 世界 : Sakhalin, Japan and China.
