形態特徵

• Kitamura (1956) noted that the type specimen of <i>Lactuca×mansuensis</i> had glabrous leaves and achenes with a slightly longer beak. He considered it and several other herbarium specimens collected at Mt. Daijurin, Takao, and Taroko, Karenko to represent hybrids between <i>L. formosana</i> and <i>L. indica</i>. The cauline leaves in these specimens are amplexicaul and have a caudate apex. The undersurface of the leaves is hairy along the midrib and the achenes have a beak ca. 1 mm long.
