形態特徵

Plants rhizomatous. Stems solitary, erect, 70–100 cm tall, crisp pubescent.
Lower opposite, lower ones small, median leaves short-petiolate, ovate-oblong or elliptic in outline, 10–15×2–4 cm, pinnately veined, long acuminate, base cuneate, margins crenate-serrate, lower surface glandular dotted, both sides loosely crisp pubescent, with 6 or 7 pairs of lateral nerves, petiole 1–2 cm long.
Inflorescence of loose corymbs; heads cylindric, 5–6 mm long, 5-flowered; involucral bracts 2-seriate, outer bracts very short, scarious, rounded at apex.
Achenes cylindric, ca. 3 mm long, glandular or pilose; pappus white, 4 mm long.
<i>Eupatorium chinense</i>b var. tozanense differs from the typical variety by its crenate-serrate leaves with long-acuminate apex.

台灣 : common in mountains, 1,000–2,500 m.
世界 : The typical variety is in China and Japan.
