形態特徵

Shrubs or small trees, sometime epiphytic; branchlets stout, glabrous.
Leaves elliptic to oblong, chartaceous to subcoriaceous, 8–17 cm long , 3–6 cm wide, apex acute to obtuse, base obtuse to cuneate, margin shallowly toothed margin, glabrous on both surfaces, upper surface dull; lateral veins 6–9 per side; petiole 1–2 cm long, glabrous.
Inflorescence a pyramidal cymose, 10–15 cm long, with brown stellate hairs; peduncle shorter than inflorescence. Flowers sessile, white; calyx lobes triangular, ca. 1 mm long; corolla campanulate, ca. 2.5 mm across, tube ca. 1.5 mm long.
Fruits red, ovoid-ellipsoid, ca. 6 mm long.

分布

台灣 : In the northern and central parts, 1,500–2,500 m.
