形態特徵

Shrubs 2–4 m tall; branchlets slender, glabrous.
Leaves chartaceous, oblong-lanceolate, 5–9 cm long, 2–2.5 cm wide, apex caudate-acuminate, base acute, entire, glabrous, upper surface shining, dark, lower surface pale, midrib impressed on upper surface, raised on lower surface, lateral veins 4–6 per side, obscure on upper surface, raised and distinct on lower surface, spreading, anastomosing near margins, reticulations slightly distinct on lower surface; petiole 5–7 mm long, pubescent.
Inflorescence a terminal cyme, pubescent. Flowers ca. 3.5 mm across; calyx tube ca. 1 mm long, lobes triangular, acute, ca. 0.5 mm long; corolla broadly campanulate, ca. 4 mm across, glabrous, deeply 5-lobed, lobes ovate, ca. 1 mm long, rounded; stamens 5, inserted at base of corolla, filaments ca. 1 mm long.
Fruits black, ovoid, fleshy, ca. 7.5 mm long, 4–5 mm in across.

分布

台灣 : In forests, 1,400–2,500 m, throughout the island.
