形態特徵

Deciduous, to 4 m long; branches terete, pubescent.
Leaves opposite, ovate, ovate-oblong to linear-lanceolate, 3–12 cm long, 1–7 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base rounded to subcordate, margin entire, subglabrous, sometimes sparsely pubescent; petiole 1–6 cm long; stipules deltate, 3–5 mm long.
Calyx 1.5–2 mm long, glabrous, lobes 5, deltate; corolla salverform, white, reddish purple in throat, 10–12 mm long, densely white floccose outside, purple glandular-pilose on inside upper half of tube, lobes widely ovate, upper margin denticulate; stamens 5, unequal in length, inserted at different levels.
Drupes globose, ca. 5 mm in diam., shining, glabrous.

台灣 : a common lowland weed.
世界 : The Himalayas, India, Myanmar, Indochina, central and southern China, Japan and Malesia.
