特徵描述

生活型

形態特徵

  • Evergreen shrubs to 2.5 m tall; branches terete, densely hirsute especially when young.
  • Leaves thick membranous to chartaceous, subrhomboid or elliptic-obovate, 1.5–3 cm long, 7–15 mm wide, apex acute, often mucronulate, base cuneate, margin entire, upper surface glabrous, lower surface hirsute; petiole 1–2 mm long; stipule incised to ciliate-setose, ca. 2 mm long, pubescent outside.
  • Peduncles 5–15 mm long; pedicel ca. 1 mm long; calyx ca. 2 mm long, glabrous; corolla white, 2–4 mm long, lobes ovate, pubescent inside; style ca. 1.5 mm long.
  • Drupe transversely ovoid, ca. 3 mm long, ca. 4 mm across, glabrous, blue, 4-grooved.

分布

  • 台灣 : in broad-leaved forests at low elevations in the central and southern parts of the island.
  • 世界 : Tropical Asia.
