形態特徵

Plants twining. Stems glabrous.
Leaves opposite, also usually with smaller stipule-like leaves in the axils; blade coriaceous, broadly ovate, apex short acuminate, base rounded or shallowly cordate, 3.5–7.5 cm long, 3.5–6.5 cm broad; petioles ca. 2–4 cm long.
Inflorescences usually dichotomous, few-flowered racemose Cymes; peduncles 1–2 cm long; pedicels ca. 5 mm long. Calyx 5-lobed, lobes ovate, obtuse, glabrous, 1 mm long; corolla glabrous, lobes oblong, 3–4 mm long; corona cupular, 10lobed, ca. 4 mm long; gynostegium half as long as corona; pollinia oblong; stigma discoid, head conical at apex.
Follicles 1 per pedicel, lanceolate, ca. 7 cm long, striate. Seeds flat, circular winged, ovate, wooly, ca. 8 mm long, 5 mm broad, comose.
