形態特徵

• Erect or ascending perennial herb, sometimes woody at base, with fleshy, scaly basal soboles; stems 15–90 cm tall, simple or branched, strigillose, sometimes with glandular hairs on inflorescence, lacking raised lines on internodes.
• Leaves 1.5–5 (–8) cm long, 0.5–2 (–3) cm wide, lanceolate or elliptic to narrowly ovate, subcoriaceous, distinctly denticulate, on petioles 0–4 mm long.
• Flowers erect; floral tube 1–1.4 mm long; sepals 4.5–6.5 mm long; petals 7–10 mm long, dark pink to rose-purple; stigma clavate.
• Capsules 35–70 mm long, on pedicels 4–14 mm long. Seeds 1–1.1 mm long, surface papillose; coma dull white, detaching readily.
• 2n=36. Epilobium brevifolium is an Asian species that consists of two subspecies. The typical subspecies occurs in the Himalayan region, barely reaching into southwestern China. That subspecies is replaced in southern China by subsp. trichoneurum, which is widespread to eastern China and Taiwan.

• 台灣 : Grows in open grassy places, wet areas in valleys, and disturbed places in the mountains; 600–1,800 m.
• 世界 : Distribution: From Bhutan, Assam, and Burma in the eastern Himalaya to southern China, northern Vietnam, northern Luzon, and Taiwan.
