特徵描述

生活型

shrub

形態特徵

  • Shrubs; branches and branchlets glabrous, 4 angled or terete.
  • Leaves opposite, subcoriaceous or coriaceous, oblong rhombic, 5–10 cm long, 2–4.5 cm wide, acute to acuminate at the apex, cuneate to acute at the base, the margins serrate or nearly entire above the middle and entire beneath the middle, glabrous; petioles 0.5–1 cm long.
  • Flowers solitary or few clustered, on the terminal of young branchlets; peduncles 1–5 cm long.
  • Capsule 4 loculed, the sterile ones flattened, the fertile ones rounded, 7 mm across, with persistent sepals.

分布

  • 台灣 : at low to medium altitudes throughout the island.
  • 世界 : The Ryukyus.
