形態特徵
- A scandent shrub; stems floccose-tomentose when young, prickles few to many, 1–3 mm long.
- Leaves simple, chartaceous, oblong-lanceolate to ovate, 5–10 cm long, 1.5–4 cm long, the apex acuminate, the base cuneate to broadly cordate, unevenly serrate to biserrate, glabrous above but pubescent on the midrib, glabrescent or gray-tomentose beneath, the midrib and veins slightly impressed above, raised beneath, lateral veins 6–9 per side; petioles 6–10 mm long, tomentose; stipules caducous, ovate-olblong to lanceolate, 5–8 mm long, entire or serate at apex, outside hairy, inside glabrous.
- Flowers solitary or 3–7 in a terminal raceme; peduncles and pedicels tomentose and with many glandular hairs; calyx-lobes triangular ovate, 4–7 mm long, the apex caudate, outside tomentose and with many long glandular hairs, inside tomentose; petals white, broadly ovate, 5–7 mm long, both surfaces with short hairs; stamens and pistils glabrous.
- Collective fruits 9–12 mm across, exocarp black when ripe.
分布
- 台灣 : Taiwan, common in the northern and central parts from low to medium altitudes.
- 世界 : China and the Ryukyus.
