形態特徵

A shrub up to 5 m high, glabrous or glabrescent, the branches slender.
Leaves membranaceous, lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, 8–12 cm long, 2.5–3.5 cm broad, acuminate, sometimes subcaudate, cuneate at base, entire or subundulate to more or less minutely crenate-serrulate, dark above, pale beneath, the midrib slightly impressed above, raised beneath, the veins 5 or 6 per side, conspicuous beneath, arcuate-ascending, the veinlets transverse, reticulate; petioles slender, 1–2 cm long.
Inflorescence a slender axillary raceme to 5 cm long, many-flowered, glabrous or sometimes puberulous, the pedicels slender, about 2 mm long; petals narrowly ovate-lanceolate, about 2 mm long, 1 mm broad.
Capsules about 4.5 mm long, 1.5 mm across, slightly puberulous, many-seeded.

台灣 : Common in forests at low to medium altitudes throughout the island.
