形態特徵

  • Prostrate herbs; stems densely barbellate hairy, glabrescent.
  • Leaves oblanceolate or spatulate, 1.5–2 cm long, 3–5 mm wide, barbellate hairy on lower surface and at the base of upper surface, apex obtuse to rounded.
  • Inflorescences sessile, ovoid to globose, usually barbellate hairy at base; bracteoles 3, scarious, white, ovate-oblong, apex acute to slightly mucronate, barbellate hairy along nerves, outer 3 bracteoles, 3-nerved in lower half, inner 2 somewhat laterally compressed, 1-nerved, slightly shorter than outer ones; stamens 5, anthers ellipsoid, yellow; staminodes 3–4-toothed, ca. half as long as stamens; pistil broadly obcordate, stigma capitate.
  • Utricle obcordate, brown.

  • 台灣 : naturalized in the central and south parts.
  • 世界 : Native to tropical America.
