形態特徵

• Perennial herb 20-50 cm tall; stem sometimes woody and creeping at base, branched upward, branches erect or ascending, slender, glabrous.
• Radical leaves approximate, linear, 2-5 cm long, 1-4 mm wide, acute at apex, elongate attenuate at base, swollen and semi-amplexicual at nodes, margins minutely denticulate, midrib impressed above, elevated beneath, glabrous on both surfaces; cauline leaves similiar to radical ones, but smaller.
• Flowers solitary or few in terminal or axillary racemes, pink, large, showy; peduncles 5-8 cm long, slender; bracts 4, decussate, in 2 series, ones series oblong, 8-10 mm long, 2-4 mm wide, other series ovate, 1-1.2 cm long, 3.5-4 mm wide, multinerved, lobes ovate-triangular, 4-5 mm long, 2.5 mm wide, obtuse, glabrous outside, pubescent inside, margins short ciliate; petals elongate-clawed, blade rounded-obovate, 2-2.5 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, fimbriate; claw slender, linear, 2.5-3 cm long, glabrous except glandular hairy upward; stamens 10, filaments slender, glabrous, anthers linear-oblong; ovary cylindrical, glabrous, styles hairy upward. Flowers white.
• Capsules cylindric, 1 cm long, 3 mm across. Seeds minute, compressed-rounded, apiculate at apex, papillate all over.

分布

• 台灣 : only from Nanhutashan, 2,300-2,800 m, grasslands, very rare.
