形態特徵

• Annual glabrous herbs with slender taprot. Stems much-branched, ascending, angled.
• Basal leaves rosulate, often fugaceous, widest above middle; cauline leaves opposite or in verticils of 3-8, subsessile, oblanceolate to linear-oblanceolate, obtuse to acute, 1-3.5 cm long, 1-6.6 mm wide.
• Inflorescences axillary, umbellate clusters of 2-5 pedicellate flowers; bracts small, membranaceous, often persistent; pedicels 2-7 mm long, persistent. Sepals 5, elliptic, acuminate, acute to obtuse, 1.5-2.5 mm long, whitish inside, vascularised about 3/4 length to nearly throughout the length; stamens mostly 3.
• Capsules ellipsoid, ca. 3 mm long; seeds reniform-orbicular, ridged, tuberculate.

分布

• 世界 : Native in tropical and subtropical America, now a weed throughout the world wide in disturbed areas.
