形態特徵

Scandent shrubs; branchlets prickly, brownish-pubescent.
Leaves opposite or partially alternate, obovate-elliptic to elliptic, 4–10 cm long, 2.5–6 cm broad, obtuse, sparsely to densely pubescent beneath.
Inflorescences paniculate-cymous, axillary, densely flowered, brownish-pubescent. Flowers small, unisexual, yellowish-white; pedicels with 3 ovate bracteoles near apex; perianth tube of staminate flowers obconical, of pistillate flowers campanulate-urceolate; stamens 7–8; stigma lacerate.
Fruits oblong-clavoid, 7–14 mm long, 4 mm wide, 5-ribbed, glandular between ribs, glands short-stalked, viscid.

分布

台灣 : in thickets along the seashores and open forests at low altitudes in the south and east.
世界 : Nearly pantropical, Asia (Hainan, the Ryukyus, India, Malaysia and Indonesia), southern North America, Central America; South America, Africa, the Pacific Islands and Australia..
