Scandent shrubs with aerial roots, branches deep brown, glabrous; young branchlets brown pubescent.
Leaves 8–11.5 cm long, 5.4–10.8 cm wide, cordate, short-acute, obtuse or rounded at apex, obtuse, rounded or cordate at base, glabrous above, nearly glabrous beneath, with 3–5 main veins from base, lateral veins 4–6 pairs; petioles 0.7–2.2 cm long, sparsely or densely brown pubescent; stipules with brown hairs abaxially.
Receptacles 1–2 clustered, globose to obconic, 1–1.8 cm long, 1.6–1.9 cm wide, stalks 0.7–0.8 cm long, hairy.
