形態特徵

  • Small evergreen scandent shrubs, rooting freely from branches, branchlets puberulous or glabrous, reddish-brown.
  • Leaves membranaceous, scabrid or glabrous, variable in shape, linear to narrowly lanceolate, 2–13 cm long. 0.3–2 cm wide, acuminate or acute at apex, rounded, obtuse or auriculate at base, entire, irregularly sinuate or 3-lobed. with 3 or 5 main veins from base, primary lateral veins 3–12 pairs; petioles 0.5–1.5 cm long, scurfy and slightly puberulous; stipules membranaceous, linear-lanceolate, 0.5–1.5 cm long, pubescent, fugaceous.
  • Male and gall or feMale flowers mixed; Male flowers pedi-cellate, perianth lobes 3–4, stamens 2–3; gall flowers pedicellate or sessile, perianth lobes 3–5, the ovary stipitate, smooth, globose, oblique, style lateral, short, stigma dilated and truncate; feMale flowers sessile or shortly pedicellate, perianth lobes 3–4, ovary sessile, smooth, globose, style lateral, longer, stigma acute.
  • Receptacles pale brown, solitary or paired, axillary, subpyriform, 1.3 cm long, 1.2 cm across, glabrous; basal bracts 3, membranaceous, 0.8–1 cm across; stalks scurfy, 0.3–5 cm long.

分布

  • 台灣 : Along seashores especially common in Suao (Ilan), Tailuko (Hualien), Taitung and Lanyu Island.
