形態特徵

Small evergreen shrubs, branches and branchlets brown or reddish-brown, glabrous or sparsely pilose.
Levaes long obovate, 6–12 cm long, 2.5–4 cm wide, papery to membranaceous, glabrous above, pale-blackish, tuberculate and sparsely pilose beneath, short-cuspidate at apex, acute or cuneate at base, entire or rarely large dentate on margins, primary lateral veins 6–10 pairs, prominent beneath; petioles scurfy or pubescent, 0.7–1 cm long; stipules membranaceous, glabrous or slightly puberulous, linear-lanceolate, 0.5 cm long, fugaceous.
Male and gall or female Flowers mixed; male Flowers long-pedicellate, often with single bract at base, perianth 2–4-parted, stamens 2–3, filament short; gall Flowers pedicellate, perianth 3–4-parted, the ovary stipitate, smooth, globose, lateral style short, stigma dilated, truncate; female Flowers nearly sessile, perianth lobes 3–4, lateral style elongate, stigma tapering.
Receptacles green, with white dots, solitary or paired, axillary, ovoid, obovoid or subglobose, 1.2–1.8 cm long, 0.7–1 cm across, glabrous, mucronate at tip; basal bracts 3, thinly membranaceous; stalks stout, 0.5–1 cm long.

分布

台灣 : An undershrub in wet places in broad-levaed forests throughout the island.
世界 : S China, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
