形態特徵

Large deciduous trees with dark brown bark, branchlets pale-brown, glabrous.
Levaes chartaceous, glabrous, elliptic or oblong, 15–20 cm long, 7–9.5 cm wide, abruptly short-cuspidate, obtuse or rounded at base, entire or undulate, midrib slightly prominent beneath, lateral primary veins 9–10 pairs; petioles slender, glabrous or somewhat pubescent, 2–4 cm long; stipules broadly lanceolate, 2–4 cm long, fugaceous.
Male, gall and female Flowers mixed; male Flowers few, near mouth of receptacle, sessile, perianth lobes 3–4, involute, stamen 1, filament short; gall Flowers sessile, perianth 2–3-parted, ovary smooth, globose or obovoid, style lateral or subterminal, short, stigma dilated; female Flowers sessile, perianth 2–3-parted, ovary smooth, obovoid, style obliquely lateral or subterminal, stigma slightly dilated.
Receptacles yellowish-white, tinged with red, solitary, paired or clustered, axillary or cauline on thick branches, globose, 0.5–0.8 cm across; basal bracts 3; stalks 0.5–0.7 cm long.

分布

台灣 : Often at low altitudes in the northern and southern parts, Lanyu and Lutao islands.
世界 : Southern Japan and the Ryukyus, the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Lombok, Borneo, N. Sulawesi, Moluccas, New Guinea and Sri Lanka.
