形態特徵

Evergreen trees; branchlets slender, velutinous, glabrescent; bud scales brown, brown puberulous or tomentose, brown ciliate.
Leaves ovate, elliptic-ovate or elliptic, 7-15 cm long, 2.5-5 cm broad, chartaceous, apex acuminate to caudate-acuminate, base rounded to obtuse, very oblique, margins serrulate to entire in upper part, green above, glaucous beneath, lateral veins 3-5 pairs; petioles 6-8 mm long, glabrous to sparsely velutinous.
Flowers 1-3, fascicled, axillary; calyx lobes glabrous, ciliate on margins.
Fruit 1 or 2 together, ovoid; pedicels slender, 8-10 mm long, glabrous.

分布

台灣 : in thickets and secondary forests from low elevations to 1,500 m throughout the island.
