形態特徵

• Rhizomes short, ca. 2 mm thick. Pseudobulbs rather close or ca. 1 cm apart, ovoid to ellipsoid, 1-1.3 cm long, 5-10 mm thick, rugose or sulcate.
• Leaves rigid, elliptic to oblong, 3-6 cm long, 1.2-1.5 cm wide, apex retuse, thickly coriaceous, green above, pale below.
• Scapes 14-16 cm long, with 2 sheathlike scale below; bracts ovate-lanceolate 4-5 mm long; ovary and pedicel 1-1.5 cm long. Flowers 12-16, umbellate, brownish green to pale green, ca. 4 cm long; dorsal sepal ovate, 5-6 mm long, 3.2 mm wide, shortly caudate, with brown lines, apex turning brownish, white ciliate; lateral sepals linear, 3-4 cm long, 2 mm wide, yellowish green, tinged with orange brown at tip, with a red spot near base, slightly ciliate near base or nearly entire, apex long tailed, free, often inrolled and connate for ca. half their length at base; petals pale yellow, with 5 dark brown veins, elliptic to obovate, 3 mm long, 2 mm wide, subacute to rounded at apex, slightly contracted at base, yellowish white ciliate; lip orange red with green tip, tongue shape, 2.5 mm long, grooved near base, 2 -keeled; column 1.5-2 mm long, with 2 short stylids, foot slender, 2.5 mm long; anther greenish yellow, ovate, 1 mm long; pollinia 4, connate into 2 ellipsoid groups.

分布

• 台灣 : recorded from a few localities in the central part of the island, in forests at 1,500-2,400 m.
