形態特徵

• Rhizome short, with rather thick stolons. Culms stiffly erect, 30-80 cm tall, 0.5-3 mm thick, smooth or scabrid below inflorescence.
• Leaves many, surpassing culm, 4-9 mm wide; sheaths brown to yellowish brown.
• Spikes 4-6, subfastigiate, erect to erect-patent; terminal spike staminate, linear, 3-5 cm long, 1.5-2 mm thick, light brown; lateral spikes pistillate, subsessile or short peduncled, cylindrical, 4-10 cm long, 4-5 mm across, densely many-flowered, eventually becoming brownish. Bracts sheathless, lower bracts leafy, shorter than or overtopping inflorescence.
• Pistillate glumes lanceolate, 2-2.25 mm long excluding awn, pale, green costa excurrent in a long awn. Utricles patent, obovate, 3-3.5 mm long, trigonous, olive-green to dark green, some what shiny, few-nerved, densely hispid, short-stipitate at base, beak slender, recurved, bidentate. Achenes tightly enveloped, obovate to oval, trigonous, ca. 1.5 mm long; style slender; stigmas 3, elongated.

• 世界 : China, Japan, Indochina and Myanmar.
