形態特徵

• Stems 55-110 cm tall.
• Leaves subsessile; blade broadly elliptic, 10-26 by 2.3-6 cm, apex acuminate, base attenuate, upper surface sparsely puberulent, lower surface uncinate, puberulent, midrib impressed on upper surface, raised on lower surface.
• Peduncle sparsely short uncinate hairy; bracts lorate-lanceolate, sometimes leaflike, 6.5-11 by 1-1.5 mm, sparsely uncinate or glabrous; bracteoles ca. 2 by 1.5-2 mm; pedicel ca. 3.8 mm long. Flowers ca. 3 mm long; pistil in bisexual flowers ca. 8.5 mm long; sepals 3.4-3.6 by 2.5-3.4 mm; petals subequal, obovate, 4-5.6 by 3.8-4.5 mm, apex acute, base attenuate; stamens dimorphic, fertile stamens 3, anticous, anthers white, ellipsoid, ca. 1.3 mm long; filaments ca. 4-6.8 mm long; staminodes 3, posticous, antherodes yellow, ellipsoid, ca. 0.6 mm long; filaments 4.5-5.5 mm long; ovary globose-ellipsoid, ca. 1.5 mm long; style ca. 7 mm long.
• Capsules ca. 6 mm in diam. Seeds 8 per locule, 1.3-1.4 by 1.5-1.9 mm, ca. 0.75 mm thick.

分布

• 台灣 : in the south, damp, semishaded places in forests, 10-2,000 m.
• 世界 : India, Sri Lanka, Sikkim, Bhutan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, southern China, the Ryukyus, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.
