形態特徵

Bulbs globose to obovoid, 4-6 cm in diam., pale yellow or white; scales imbricate, fleshy; stem erect to ascending, 40-120 cm long, scabrid-pubescent, green.
Leaves many, lanceolate to falcate-lanceolate, 15-25 cm long, 1-2.5 cm wide, apex acute, base amplexicual, entire, chartaceous, glabrous on both surfaces, 3-nerved; nerves slightly impressed on upper surface, elevated beneath.
Flowers solitary to several, terminal, fragrant, pure white, horizontal or nodding, 12-17 cm long, 5-7 cm in diam.; bracts lanceolate, 3-5 cm long, apex acute; pedicel 2.5-6 cm long, glabrous, green; tepals in 2 series, outer ones oblanceolate to broadly oblanceolate, 2.5-3 cm wide; inner ones somewhat broader, 3.5-4.5 cm wide, apex obtuse; filaments 7-9 cm long, glabrous; anthers cylindric, 2-3 cm long; ovary elongate, cylindric, 2.5-4 cm long, glabrous, green; style 7-9 cm long, pale yellow; stigma trifid, dark green.
Fruit a capsule, cylindric, 3-5 cm long, 2.5-3.5 cm wide.

台灣 : coastal regions in the north and east.
世界 : The typical variety widely distributed in Japan and the Ryukyus; variety scabrum endemic to Taiwan.
