形態特徵

• Perennial herbs, stems 10–50 cm long, aerial branches glabrous or sparsely glandular.
• Leaves sessile, glabrous; emergent leaves verticillate below, opposite to alternate above, oblong, 5–16 mm long, 2–4 mm wide, apex acute, base narrowly cuneate to semiamplexicaul, margins serrulate; submerged leaves 6–10-verticillate, finely divided, segments opposite, flattened.
• Flowers sessile, solitary or in terminal spikes. Calyx 3–4 mm long, cleft to above the middle, glandular, ebracteolate; lobes 1–1.5 mm long. Corolla tubular, violet, 5–7 mm long, villose on inside lateral surface, lobes 1–1.5 mm long. Cleistogamous flowers smaller.
• Capsule subglobose, ca. 2.5 mm in diam.

分布

• 台灣 : in small ponds in the south; very rare.
• 世界 : East Asia.
