形態特徵

• Shrubs, 1–1.5 m tall; branches and branchlets short pubescent.
• Leaves coriaceous or subcoriaceous, narrowly oblong or oblanceolate, 7–15 cm long, 1.5–3.5 cm broad; base cuneate, apex acuminate or acute; upper surface sparsely pubescent along petiole to midrib, lower surface pubescent, secondary veins (5-)6–8(–9) pairs, veinlets subparallel; stipules triangular-lanceolate, 3–5 mm long, pubescent; petioles 4–7 mm, slightly grooved above.
• Flowers sessile, ebracteate, clustered in axillary heads. Calyx campanulate, 2–3 mm long, pubescent outside, lobes 5, ca. 1 mm long. Corolla salverform, white, 7–8 mm long, upper 1/3 of tube pubescent inside, pubescent outside, lobes 5. Stamens 5, filaments ca. 1 mm long, anthers oblong, ca. 2 mm long. Styles filiform, ca. 5 mm long, stigmas 5-branched, white.
• Drupes ellipsoid, ca. 6 mm in diam., pubescent, blackish purple. Seeds 5.

分布

• 台灣 : in broad-leaved forests at low elevations in Hengchun Peninsula and Taitung.
