形態特徵

A tree or shrub, 2–3 m high or higher; branches terete, brownish-green, lenticellate; young shoots yellowish-brown, covered with stellate hairs.
Leaves chartaceous, oblong-ovate or rhomboid, 1.5–12 cm long, 1–6.5 cm wide, acuminate-caudate, acute or slightly obtuse at apex, obtuse or tapered at base, 3-nerved, simply, sometimes duplicately serrate or dentate; both surfaces green, scabrous, covered with stellate hairs; nerves distinct below; petioles 0.6–1.2 cm long, yellowish-brown, densely covered with stellate hairs, slightly enlarged at apex; stipules 2, subulate, 0.2-0.4 cm long.
Umbels solitary, oppositifolious or rarely axillary, wholely covered with stellate hairs, yellowish-brown; peduncles slim, slightly enlarged at apex, 7–12 mm long; pedicels (3-)4–22, slim and straight, 4–6 mm long; bracteoles few, cuneate; buds globose, 2 mm wide in diameter, longitudinally grooved; sepals 5(–6), elliptic, 3.5–4 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, both acuminate at apex and base, hairy without, glabrous within; petals 5(–6), small, broadly ovate, 1 mm long, 0.8 mm wide, glabrous without, glandular within; glands prominently surrounded by tufted hoary hairs; gonophore very short; stamens numerous; filaments short, 1–1.5 mm long; ovary orbicular, ciliate; style slender, 1.5 mm long or longer, exposed above anthers; stigma transversely 2-lobed, T-shaped in side view, each lobe irregularly dentate or dissected.
Fruit drupaceous, 2–4-lobed, the lobes oblate, glabrous, green, dark brown at maturity.
