形態特徵

• A vine to 10 m high; young stem densely pubescent, becoming glabrescent.
• Leaves variable in shape and size, ovate mostly 8–12 cm long, 4–7 cm broad, acute at apex, truncate, rounded or slightly cordate with 2 glands at base, glabrous above, glabrous to tomentose beneath, lateral veins about 4–7 pairs; petioles 1–7 cm long.
• Flowers yellow, fragrant; sepals rounded, about 2 mm long, not pubescent; petals orbicular or elliptic, more or less clawed, 6–10 cm long; stamens 10, 2–4 mm long.
• Fruit a samara, 2–4 cm long, 1–1.5 cm broad.

分布

• 台灣 : confined to the coastal region of Is. Lanyu.
• 世界 : Northern Queensland to Malaysia, Micronesia.
