形態特徵
- A medium-sized tree; branchlets glabrous.
- leaves paripinnate, 20–35 cm long; leaflets opposite, 3–4 jugate, chartaceous, ovate oblong, or obovate oblong, 8–15 cm long, 4–7 cm broad, acute to obtuse at apex, acute somewhat inequilateral at base, nearly glabrous on both surfaces, the lateral veins about 7–9 on each side of the midrib; petiolules about 1 cm long.
- Inflorescence in an axillary panicle, pubescent, to 20 cm long, the flowers loosely arranged; pedicels 1–3 mm long, hirsute, bracts triangular, 1 mm long, hirsute; calyx campanulate, pubescent, about 3 mm long, irregularly lobed; petals 4 or 5, yellowish white, oblong, about 6–8 mm long, 2–2.5 mm broad, obtuse at apex, thick appressed pubescent without; staminal tube about 5–6 mm long, 3.5 mm across, glabrous, truncate at apex; anthers 8–10, oblong, sessile; disk 3 mm long, tomentose, 6 mm long, thick, the stigma peltate.
- Fruit globose, 3–5 cm across, dehiscent, the pedicels stout.
分布
- 台灣 : known only from Hengchun Peninsula.
- 世界 : S. China (Hainan, Kwantung, Kwangsi and Yunnan).
