形態特徵

• A shrub; branches terete, brownish-gray.
• Leaves 25–30 cm long; leaflets about 11, alternate or subopposite, ovate-lanceolate, strongly inequilateral, acuminate at apex, obtuse at base, those in the upper parts of the rachises longer than the lower ones, the longer ones up to 8.5 cm long, 3 mm broad, the smaller ones 4–5 cm long, 2 cm broad, chartaceous, subentire, the lateral veins about 6 on each side of the midrib; petiolules about 4 mm long.
• Panicles terminal, narrowly pyramidal, about 15 cm long, minutely puberulent, the lower branches longer, the upper gradually shorter. Flowers numerous, somewhat crowded at the apices of the branches, 5-merous, the pedicels very short; calyx shallow, 1.7 mm in diameter, 5-lobed, the lobes short, acute, glandular; petals obtuse, about 3 mm long, glandular; stamens 10, the anthers oblong, 1–1.2 mm long, much longer than the filaments which are enlarged below; ovary globose, prominently rugose, 1.5 mm long, the style very short, about 0.5 mm long.
• Fruit globose, fleshy, 1 cm in diameter.

分布

• 台灣 : found on Is. Lanyu (Botel Tobago) only.
• 世界 : The Philippines.
