形態特徵

• Shrubs, branches grayish brown, branchlets and terminal buds pubescent.
• Leaves alternate, coriaceous, oblong-lanceolate, 4.5–6.5 cm long, 1.5–2.5 cm wide, apex acute, obtuse at the extremity, base attenuate, margins finely serrulate, entire toward the base, upper surface glabrous, hirsute on the midrib beneath; petioles decurrent, sulcate, 2–5 cm long.
• Flowers 2–3-clustered at the axil of the Leaves or along the branchlets, male flowers not seen. Female flowers: pedicels 1–2 mm long, hirsute, borne in the axils of 3–4 bracteoles, bracteoles 2 attached at the apex of the pedicels, imbricate, triangular, sepals 5, imbricate, triangular-ovate, 1.5 mm long, pubescent on the outer surface, petals 5; oblong, 2.5 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, apex rounded, slightly contracted below, glabrous, connate at base, ovary glabrous, ovoid, 1 mm long, 3-loculed, locules each several-ovuled in one longitudinal series, styles very short, usually 4-fid.

引證標本

No more specimens except for the type can be examined. There still lack the male individuals to complete the description. Before the taxonomy of this species is clarified, the original treatment is accepted.
