Woody climber.
Leaves entire or lobed, orbicular to ovate-orbicular, 6-10 cm long, 3-12 cm wide, subcordate to truncate at base, glaucescent and pubescent beneath , glabrous and green above; petioles 5-10 cm long.
Flowers minute, dioecious, pedicellate, in panicles. Female Flowers: sepals 6, oblong, 2.5 mm long; petals 6, obovate, 0.8 mm long; emarginate at apex; staminodes 6; carpels 3, style reflexed, stigma divided. Male Flowers: unknown.
Drupes disk-like, black, 6 mm in diameter.
