形態特徵

Perennial ascending herb; stems much branched, lower stems usually woody, glabrous; nodes enlarged.
Leaves ovate to oblong, 3–8 cm long, 2–5 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base truncate or weakly cordate, both surfaces nearly glabrous to short pilose on veins, minutely glandular; petioles 1–2 cm long; ocreae tubular, 1–2.5 cm long, apex oblique, glabrous or pilose on veins, upper margins eciliate.
Inflorescences 3–8-flowered fascicles in terminal densely flowered corymbs; peduncles glandular pubescent, 1.5–2 cm long; bracts lanceolate, usually glandular pubescent, apex acuminate, upper margins with very short cilia. Flowers white to pinkish-white; pedicels included; perianth segments 5, elliptic, ca. 3. mm long, apex obtuse, becoming fleshy and blue-black in fruit; stamens 8; styles 3-cleft, included; nectaries present.
Achenes black, trigonous, rough, not shining, ca. 3 mm long.

分布

台灣 : in thickets and somewhat shaded places throughout the island and on Lanyu.
世界 : India, the eastern Himalayas, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, China (S, SW, C, E & Xizang), Korea, Japan and the Ryukyus.
