形態特徵

Erect shrub, or climbing shrub in thickets; stems gray-brown, densely velutinous, hirsute.
Leaves alternate, variable in size, shape, integument and serration, somewhat scabrous above, hirsute on both surfaces, inconspicuously to distinctively white tomentose beneath, widely ovate, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 4-18 cm long, 2-13 cm wide, apex acuminate to caudate, margins crenate-serrate to dentate, base cuneate, broadly cuneate to subtruncate; petioles hirsute, 2-15 cm long; stipules connate at base, caducous, lobes lanceolate, ca. 1.2 cm long.
Inflorescences paniculately branched, to 12 cm long.

分布

台灣 : very common, roadsides and thickets, low to medium altitudes.
