Small trees or shrubs with branches pale brown, puberulous, branchlets hairy at first.
Levaes coriaceous or chartaceous, elliptic-lanceolate or ovate-elliptic, 10–25 cm long, 4–6 cm wide, caudate at apex, obliquely obtuse or rounded at base, entire, main veins 3 from base, primary lateral veins 7–11 pairs, prominent beneath; petioles slightly pubescent, 1.5–3.5 cm long; stipules thinly membranaceous, fugaceous.
Gall Flowers many, ovary smooth, obliquely obovoid, ellipsoid or ovate-globose, lateral style short, stigma dilated, truncate; female Flowers unknown.
Receptacles reddish-yellow or light-orange, in 1–4 pairs, axillary, globose or depressed-globose, 0.9–1.2 cm across, pubescent, with several vertical ridges and dots, basal bracts none, stalks slender, pubescent, 0.4–0.6 cm long.
