形態特徵

• Plants 10-20 cm tall. Stems purplish, cylindrical, fleshy, 7-12 cm long, 7-8 mm in diam., surrounded by sheaths.
• Leaves 4 or 5, ovate-oblong, 4-10 cm long, 2-3.5 cm wide, 4- or 5-nerved, oblique, entire or obscurely undulate, upper surface green, tinged with purplish blue along margins and veins, lower surface purplish.
• Peduncles terminal, purplish, 5-7 cm long; flower bearing portion of raceme 5-8 cm long; bracts ovate-triangular, 3 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, pedicel and ovary ca. 5 mm long, with 6 raised ridges. Flowers green or tinged with purple, ca. 5 mm in diam.; dorsal sepal ovate-oblong, 2.5-3 mm long, 1.5- 1.7 mm wide, strongly revolute; lateral sepals broadly ovate, 2.5 mm long, 1.8-2 mm wide; petals linear, 2.5 mm long, 0.5-0.7 mm wide, revolute; lip sagittate, 4-5 mm long, base extending into 2 falcate-triangular auricles ca. 2.5 mm long, apical lobe separated from basal auricles by an indentation, ovate to triangular, entire, obtuse or rounded at apex, shallowly 2-lobulate for 1/5-1/4 of its length; disc concave near base; column 1 mm long, with long wings; anther nearly white, orbicular, 0.5 mm long; pollinia short clavate, 0.3 mm long.
