形態特徵

• Stem often erect, arising from short or long creeping base, dark purple, polished, leafy at upper half, to 15 cm tall, 5 mm in diam. near base.
• Leaves 3-6, upper ones larger, greenish, obliquely ovate to obliquely elliptic, apex acute, rounded at base, with wavy margins.
• Peduncle hairy, 4-8 cm long, with 1- 2 sterile glabrous bracts at base; rachis 2-4 cm long, to 8-flowered; floral bracts hairy abaxially, fimbriate at margins. Flowers more or less nodding; ovary glabrous, curve downward at apex; sepals hairy abaxially, 1-veined, dorsal one lanceolate-ovate, 6-7 mm long, concave at base, lateral ones obliquely obovate, 8-9 mm long, much concave at base and enclosing lip sac; petals white, 1-veined, falcate, forming hood, hood curved backwards at apex; lip white, 15-18 mm long, tripartite, hypochile saccate, with papillae of varied shapes inside, mesochile grooved, with laciniate flange on both sides, highly elevated at upper edges; epichile bilobed, lobes triangular ovate or semi-orbicular, denticulate or rarely entire at margins, 6-7 mm long, 4-4.5 mm wide; column 3.8-4.2 mm long, without ventral appendages; anther obliquely triangular-ovate, spirally twisted at apex; pollinia clavate, sectile, joined together at stalk, stalk flat and broad, spirally twisted; stigmatic lobes 2, on ventral side; rostellum triangular.

• 世界 : China, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
