形態特徵

Rhizome much branching, rootless, bearing hairs only. Stems ascending, 3-6 cm tall, terete, 1.5-2.5 mm in diam., dark purple, bearing leaves at upper half.
Leaves dark greenish purple, broadly ovate to ovate-elliptic, 1-1.8 cm long, 0.5-1.5 cm wide, apex acute, rounded at base, smooth and thinner and somewhat hyaline at margins; petiole 0.5-1 cm long.
Peduncle hairy, 4-8 cm long, reddish-purple, with 1-2 sheaths below, sheaths glabrous or upper ones sparsely hairy abaxially, ciliate at margin; rachis 1.5- 2.5 cm long, 3-8-flowered; floral bracts hairy abaxially, ciliate at margins, 4-5 mm long. Flowers resupinate; ovary green, glabrous or rarely sparsely hairy; sepals connate at base, not spreading, green at base, whitish toward apex, glandular hairy abaxially, dorsal one ovate-lanceolate, 4-5 mm long, connate for 1/5 of its length to laterale ones, lateral ones oblong, 6-7 mm long, connate for 1/2-1/3 length at base forming pouch and enclosing saccate base of lip, pouch white or light pink; petals white or with green or brown dots or patches at apex, falcate, 4-5 mm long; lip 7-8.5 mm long; hypochile saccate, bearing 2 papillae within, papilla low or high, tabular or conical, 0.4-1.0 mm tall; mesochile clawed, ca. 3 mm long, with 1-5 teeth on both sides or not; epichile divergently bilobed, 4.3-4.8mm wide, 2-4 mm long; column 2-2.5 mm long; anther 1.2-1.5 mm long, slightly twisted at apex; pollinia 1.0-1.1 mm long; stigma semiorbicular; rostellum twisted at apex, arms unequal.

台灣 : common in forests at low and middle elevations throughout.
