形態特徵

Plants 15-33 cm tall. Tuberoids globose or ovoid, 10-20 mm across. Stem erect or ascending, purplish and often with dark striation, with 1-2 sheaths at base.
Leaves 2-5, linear- lanceolate or lanceolate, 4-9 cm long, 5-15 mm wide, acute or acuminate at apex, decurrent and attenuate at base.
Spikes with 5- 17 flowers, 3-10 cm long; bracts green or purple, chartaceous, lanceolate, 10-15 mm long, apex acuminate, entire or denticulate near apex; pedicle and ovary 8-15mm long, slightly curved or nearly straight. Flowers whitish purple or rose, rarely white, with purple or red dots on lip; dorsal sepal elliptic, concave, 4-5 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, acute or obtuse at apex, contracted at base; lateral sepals obliquely ovate, 5-6 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, apex obtuse, contracted at base; petals obliquely elliptic, ciliate, 4-5 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, apex obtuse, contracted at base; lip whitish purple or pale rose, white or sometimes tinged pale yellow near base, with purple dots or patches on disc, oblong or obovate, 8-10 mm long, 6-8 mm wide, entire or irregular serrate along front margin, 3-lobes, lateral lobes oblong or trapezoid, 2-4 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, obtuse or truncate at apex, central lobe rectangular or obovate, 4-6 mm long, 4-5 mm wide, truncate, emarginate or shallowly bifid at apex, disc glabrous, with 2 low plates at base joining base of column, spur cylindrical, pointing downward or sometimes distinctly bent backward near apex, 8-12 mm long, 2-3mm in diam., apex obtuse; column 3 mm tall; anther locules purplish, with enlarged top and slender base, 2.5-3 mm long; pollinia ovoid or globose, ca. 1 mm across; viscidium triangular.
