形態特徵

• Pseudobulbs globose-ovoid to short clavate, 1.5-2.5 cm tall, ca. 1 cm thick, with 2-3 nodes, fleshy, with 2 or rarely 1 leaves at apex.
• Leaves linear, chartaceous to membranaceous, 20-40 cm long, 0.8-1.3 cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate and continuous to petiole, plicate, mainly 3-nerved, false stem below articulation 5-6 cm long, enclosed by long tubular sheaths.
• Peduncle usually shorter than leaves, arising from upper node of pseudobulb, erect, 20-25 cm long, greenish above, purplish below, with 2-3 long tubular sheaths; rachis ca. 3-5 cm long, subdensely with more than 10 flowers; bracts ovate-lanceolate, 3 mm long, acute; pedicel and ovary ascending, 5-6 mm long, glabrous. Flowers white, perianth not opening widely, ca. 1 cm across; sepals subequal, sometimes with sparse dark purple spots, dorsal one oblong, 5-6 mm long, 1.5-2 mm wide, acute, 5-nerved, lateral ones slightly shorter and wider than dorsal one, oblique; petals obliquely oblanceolate, 5-6 mm long, 2.5 mm wide, apex acute, slightly contracted at base; lip cuneate-obtriangular, short clawed at base, 4-5 mm long, 4 mm wide, 3-lobed from claw, lateral lobes linear-oblanceolate, 3 mm long, 0.3 mm wide, obtuse or rounded at apex, curved downwards, 1-nerved, with purplish band along vein, midlobe obtriangular, 4 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, truncate and emarginate at apex, base cuneate, strongly undulate along front margin, 5-nerved, with large purplish spots or patched, disc with 2 low clasping keels near base; column 3 mm long, with purple dots on ventral side, base slightly protruding and concave; anther nearly orbicular, 0.5 mm across; pollinia globose, on short stipe with small viscidium.

分布

• 台灣 : forests at 1,500-2,500 m, northern and eastern mountainous regions.
• 世界 : Tibet, the Himalaya, India and Myanmar.
